People often communicate using their own unique industry lingo. A/E, GDP, SB and WC all mean something to somebody. However, if you said, “did you hear about the latest SB introduced today?” a lot of people may not know what you’re talking about. When you are trying to share your message with your stakeholders or community avoid technical jargon, acronyms and insider terms. It is a roadblock to meaningful communication.
Remember, you can only connect with your audience if they understand what you are saying.
