We can promise you this – it’s never boring. At Atlas, we are passionate about our work and contributing to the success of our city, state, and region. That passion keeps us on the move, in-the-know, and always ready for more. That’s where you come in because we have exciting projects in the pipeline and need to grow our team!
We are in the market for a Junior Associate (role description at the end of this post), an entry-level position ideal for a recent grad or someone looking to break into communications. First, if you found your way here and aren’t familiar with Atlas, here’s a rundown:
OUR WORK
- Atlas was founded five years ago with an aim to impact the issues that matter in our region. Today, we are a trusted partner to many of Idaho’s most influential organizations, large and small.
- Our office is in the heart of downtown Boise near restaurants, shopping, concert venues and all that our burgeoning city has to offer.
- We create and execute strategic communication plans for both public entities and private companies and non-profits. We have five practice areas for the business: public involvement; public affairs and advocacy; traditional public relations; content development and communications planning.
- We are deeply committed to bettering our home here in Idaho and have a proven track record of success statewide and throughout the Intermountain West.
- We have a strong emphasis on fit, both for the makeup of our team and for the clients we choose to work with.
- Our team boasts diverse professional backgrounds with experience in local government, the tech sector, at agencies, and for global conglomerates.
OUR CULTURE
- As a team, we have an encyclopedic knowledge of the best patios to grab a bite and a drink at in the Treasure Valley and beyond (and we often put that knowledge to use).
- Each month we head out of the office for recess. Whether it’s a highly-competitive bocce tournament, volunteering with local non-profits, wine tasting, or yard games in the park – we regularly make time to kick back and relax with each other.
- We offer a highly flexible work environment, but value our in-person time together.
OUR COMPENSATION
- At Atlas, we are proud of our team and take care of our people. Our team enjoys competitive salaries and benefit packages, and we regularly promote from within.
- For a new grad or someone with a couple of years’ experience, Atlas offers the opportunity to learn from proven industry experts and a chance to grow with the company while working with some of the most well-known organizations in the region.
If Atlas sounds like it could be a fit for you, we’d love to chat. Send your CV and a note about yourself to amanda@idahoatlas.com and we’ll be in touch.
