PUBLIC + STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Atlas designs and manages engagement processes that build trust and support informed decision-making. This work is a critical part of the public process, particularly as interest continues to grow in how public dollars are spent and how development affects daily life in Idaho and the surrounding region.

Effective engagement surfaces concerns early and reduces risk as projects move forward. Engaging the public and key agencies early in infrastructure projects is proven to save money, and buy-in matters all the way from schematic through operations and maintenance -- often a multi-year process that demands consistency in communication.

Atlas also supports organizations navigating the complex permitting, entitlement and approval processes for large projects with strict technical requirements (including NEPA) or those with stakeholder scrutiny. We work selectively, choosing projects where our values as people who live in and love our home are aligned with the outcome. We help our clients genuinely listen to stakeholders and facilitate positive dialogue, so champions get identified and risks get recognized in time to support timely, defensible approvals.
